Yeah... they'll have a RichRod-esque Big Ten record when all is said and done.

Will be interesting to see where they go from here. A few otherwise decent Big Ten coaches had a bad losing season here or there... but usually something like 4-8. I think after a couple of forgiveable rebuilding years, 4-8 was the worst it ever got for Ferentz. JoePa had a 3 win season in the early 00's but bounced back with a 1 loss season in '05.

MSU going 2-7, maybe winless or 1-8 in the Big Ten with the only win coming against Rutgers? yikes. with a proven staff, and established regime, MSU should be able to come close to 0.500 if not break even without a lot of effort.

this season is a shit storm of bad coaching. there was obviously going to be some rebuilding that had to be done with the talent they lost... but they seem to find a way to lose each week; certainly they haven't shown any improvement, which you'd expect if they were rebuilding.
