Tank now

By historical standards, this is actually a good season for the Lions.

Just got to get in. This team is loaded with talent and won't have -4, -3 and -6 turnover days.

We spot teams all these turnovers and still should win. They are that good

but we did have -4 -3 and -6 turnover days lol....or was that just unlucky in your mind? cause durham throwing the ball to the other team isn't unlucky....Pettigrew ducking when we throw him the ball isn't unlucky, megatron dropping a pass right in his hands isn't unlucky, not blocking anyone on a punt isn't unlucky. These are all bad plays made by mostly bad players. Ive been on the fence for years now in regards to staff.....ive been on his case every year about being wildly inconsistent and inaccurate. the harsh truth is you will never win anything with Stafford.....cause theres no way he will ever put together 4-5 strong performances in a row. heck, he cant even put together 4 strong quarters in a row. Ill just go ahead and say it....we wont ever amount to anything with maat Stafford as our qb. Even if we agree that he is what he is....a top 20 qb....he still makes soooo much money that you cant put enough pieces around him to help a top 20 qb succeed. therefor, our defense will continue to be shitty, we cant pay to have anymore weapons around him, we cant pay a stud DE to come here etc etc etc.

That sums up the Lions biggest problem in a nutshell...too much $$$ going to too few players, so the Lions can't acquire better talent and still remain under the salary cap.

trade your entire draft for jameis Winston in 2015....theres plenty of chicks in Detroit that need a good raping.

trade suh for a 1st

Let Winston sit for a year or 2 then you ditch Stafford and his mega contract

Then mayyyyyybe you have a shot.

You assume that the Lions would actually spend that freed up money well.

Tanking makes no sense. Even if we had a shot at the #1 overall it makes no sense. We've had many a top ten draft pick and still are stuck in the same "rut". Might as well root for these guys to win...unless you're one of these guys:

Then carry on...

Watching the Broncos up on the Pats 24-0. THAT is a Championship caliber ball club. We're kidding ourselves to think this group of clowns on the Lions is better for anything than maybe another one and done playoff run. Sometimes you can fake your way through 16 games but you can't fake your way to a trophy...

W: These guys aren't half bad.
S: You're right, these guys are ALL bad!

Hahaha
