After crushing Green Bay 19-0 in what was called the iron game Spartan coach potsy Clark played only 11 men. He did not substitute any verses the defending champs from Green Bay. Here is newspaper clip from Green Bay.

So Portsmouth and Chicago tied for first played what was retrospectly called the first playoff game in Chicago. It was supose to be at Wrigley field but blizzard conditions moved it in doors to a 80 yard field and Chicago won the game
9-0.
