I still don't like having 3 of first 4 on road for second year in a row.

a new years day game....I cant remember them ever playing on new years day
 
We play nobody after they come off a bye. Extra time to get ready for New Orleans and at Chicago after the bye right after game 8. We need a 2-2 start and then get hot in the 2nd Quarter and it won't be easy. Three on the road early stinks but you have to do that sometime during the season.

If they want to sniff the playoffs...3 road wins would be nice.....one of either TB/Dallas.....one of Oak/Den....one in our division(Chi/Minny).
 
Does anyone else think we have a legitimate chance at being 5-1 or 6-0 after 6 games?

Tampa-win:pressure on Freeman constantly and offense will put up points

KC-W or L: could go either way depending if we can stop the run

Min.-W: McNabb on his back all day

Dallas-W: Romo gets destroyed because of his new offensive line

Chi.-W: If we get pressure on Cutler, he'll screw it up

SF-W: They have no QB, if we put up 20 we'll be fine
 
No. Regardless who they play, 3 of those are on the road. I don't expect a team who finally won a road game last year to suddenly win the first 3 this season.

this. Although I am encouraged by what this team did late last year and so far this preseason, starting off THAT hot would be a bit much to ask for.

Agreed I think they need to win 3 road games and those are the best bets. 3 of those road games are in the first four weeks. A 3-1 start for the Lions(with 2 road wins) and I would be ecstatic.

Aren't we supposed to have the 3rd hardest schedule this year? If we could hover around the 8-8 mark I'd be ok with that.
 
I think a hidden game will be the last game of the year in Lambeau will the Packers have anything to play for? Chances are they may have things locked up.

i find it funny that the last big time RB out of illinois (mendenhall) missed almost his entire rookie year as well and then came back and I don't think he's missed a game since. Hopefully it works out the same for leshoure.
