Per 97.1, the Lions website, and other media outlets...

This is not good news, already. If something major is wrong, resigning Avril should suddenly become a top priority.

I've seen speculation that Avril is expected to sign his tender by tomorrow, the first day signings can practice, but speculation is just that until he's got the pen in his hand

I am not worried about this yet. We still have 5 weeks to the season. I am praying that we are getting our injuries out of the way early this year. Although the way the Lions have been for what seems like ever this could be just the start.

Avril, RFA - he'll sign. No one will give us a 1st and 3rd. As far as Fairley, I'll wait until doctor reports before I freak out.

Hey bro! Welcome to the tiny apartment that everyone's moved into after we were evicted from our nice big houses.

Haha say what?

I don't know. the analogy doesn't make as much sense as when i wrote it.

Not good Fairley had foot surgery today. He will miss most of training camp.

Most of training camp means he'll be back by regular season, right? I mean a foot injury is better than a bunch of alternatives. Better than a hamstring.

who needs a foot...he has another one! Avril should have no issues signing his tender which is for over 3 mil this year. His long term deal should happen in a month or 2 from what i read.
