Jack Williams - DB - Lions Lions waived CB Jack Williams and LB Korey Bosworth.
Williams missed all of 2010 with an ACL injury sustained one week after being claimed off waivers from the Broncos. The Lions were quick to cut bait in camp, suggesting Williams hasn't regained pre-injury form. Bosworth is the nephew of '80s icon Brian "The Boz" Bosworth. Source: Chris McCosky on Twitter

a lot of people had high hopes for jack. too bad. But we do still have decent depth without him.

He hasn't been practicing with a knee. Wonder if they will bring him back later when he's had more time to heal and they trim some fat.

I don't even remember Williams. But the Boz jr. Say it ain't so.

We will see a lot more tight battles for roster spots this year unlike years past. We are going to have to cut some decent football players.

Ya that is a nice problem to have, can't wait for the day when other teams are fighting over our camp cuts.

was optimistic about jack williams returning to pre-injury form, but never expected him to make the team after we got wright and re-upded houston. with that beinb said, itll be nice to see the rotation coming week 1.

Yeah I had hopes for him too. But he was no better than nickel and we have Berry,Smith and McDonald to battle out nickel and dime and Vasher is the expeirenced guy sticking around to play the outside.
