Top Lions WR Marvin Jones suffers hamstring injury, limited in practice

Hopefully not too bad. Would be lions luck though him, ebron and abdullah and ansah and levy all hurt

Rotoworld says he's had a history of minor hammy issues.

Marvin Jones (hamstring) was added to the Lions' Thursday injury report, getting in a limited session with a hamstring issue.
Jones must have tweaked something in Thursday's practice. There's currently no reason to panic, but Jones' Friday status will be key. Jones has a history of (minor) hamstring issues. Sit tight, but at least start contemplating a back-up plan.

Still if they lose to the bears Caldwell should be sent packing.
 
If there is any possibility of aggravation sit him. We should beat the Bears without him and hammies can linger.
 
Hard to believe how unproductive Tate has been so far this season. He seems like the odd man out at this point.
 
If they lose to Chicago, I think they should leave Caldwell there.
 
Allen Park — Despite being limited during Thursday's practice with a hamstring injury, Detroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones was back on the field for the portion of Friday's session open to the media.

The only Lions players not practicing remained linebacker DeAndre Levy and defensive end Ziggy Ansah. Neither are expected to play this week

Of course Levy isn't playing, why would he? Retire already, and quit wasting a roster spot.
 
Huge cap hit to cut him. Still a good player. He better be back soon

More than 7m this season and goes up the next 3 after. That's if he's released. Not much different if he retires though the team might try to recoup some of it.. Either way, Detroit is fudged. Plus, why would he retire? He's injured so not playing so no chance to get more hurt. He's sitting pretty.
