I meant to qualify that he was a guy with his head up his ass and that his focus is on liberals/commies (lol) because he is a conservative. Didn't mean to paint the whole group with such a broad brush.

You're not telling me anything new. It was the comments like "nearly communist" and how you'd have to invade and kick their ass, like the rest of those damn Commies!! In case you didn't notice, the war against communism was a political fight for world dominance, the ideology was secondary. But you've swallowed the party line hook and sinker and cannot be reasoned with, so let's leave it at that.

Universal, single-payer health care and talking funny means you're one step away from communism!! Too funny. BTW the US has a ton of socialist policies and in fact those have been some of the most successful. I guess wrapping your head around that would cause it to explode, so don't think about it too hard.

he throws the words around "socialist" and "communist" without knowing the meaning...

Canada is the 4th ranked country in the world as a capitalist nation , the U.S is third....ya Canada embraces more socialist policies then the U.S......but not every citizen tows the company line , just like the States.

Batcave should be saddened today, if he really is rightwing, b/c Bil Keane died yesterday. Never knew that the guy was such a staunch conservative until I glanced at one of his saccharin-bland Family Circus' comics drawings in the Detroit News-paper (remember them? heh!!) about a decade or so ago, that mentioned Rush Limbaugh.

Having lived in all three:

Britain=Cooper Manning. Apparently was the man in way back when but then suffered a long period of decline only to reinvent himself as an insurance exec. Kept a stiff upper lip and is supportive of his brothers despite the spiritual de-pantsing of being the older brother to two Super Bowl winning siblings.

US= Peyton, was one of the best of all time and may be again. Either you love him or you hate him. He's got a lot of cash and big guns on the field. Smart and innovative but the infrastructure is starting to get worn out. Right now he's a bit f'ed up and it might jeopardize his future financials. You could see him roaring back to the top of the heap once he gets his head on straight.

Canada= the little brother. Looks and sounds like Peyton but everything is slightly different. Has been accused of ridding his brother's coat tales. Can be an afterthought when talking about the top group of qbs but belongs. By all accounts more sensitive and caring. He's getting the job done and is actually in better shape than his brother this season.
