I was behind a lady at Kroger's yesterday who was buying a jug of Arnold Palmer.

That said, 87 is a pretty good age to live to.

He did well, and seemed pretty youthful pretty much right up to the end, doing those erectile dysfunction commercials with Kevin Nealon from Saturday Night Live and that race car driver.

That's how I hope it goes for me, when my time comes - stay active right up until shit starts to fall apart, then check out quick.

I thought that was for a blood thinner

Is it?

Maybe I never paid attention.

Three old guys together to sell medication, I just assumed it was boner pills.

Lol. Arnold Palmer and boner pills? I don't see that.. That's why Chris Bosh was in one of those commercials because he's had some serious blood clots. Blood thinner helps that..

Btw, Xarelto is the medicine from the commercial.

Al Kaline also knew Arnold Palmer. Kaline says a favorite framed work in his den is: A pic of him, Arnie, and Gordie Howe at Oakland Hills.

Gee I can't imagine why. Three of the most gracious athletes ever representing three different professions. I saw Arnold Palmer play one hole at a senior TPC event. His drive was behind a tree, so he hit his second 100 yards backwards. It was a 5 par so he still parred the hole.

Excellent player, didn't win much after he gave up smoking in his early 30's, of course that was coupled with the emergence of Jack Nicklaus as well. He really transformed the game from a country club/stuff sport to something the average guy did on the weekends. He made the game fun to watch and brought a ton more eyes to each tournament. He will be missed.
