Detroit Tigers shortstop Jose Iglesias isn't in the starting lineup Tuesday after injuring his wrist on a swing Monday night.
X-rays were negative and Iglesias' injury isn't expected to send him to the disabled list.
Newly recalled catcher John Hicks will start at first base on Tuesday, with Miguel Cabrera moving to designated hitter and Victor Martinez getting the night off.

Unless he gets really hot and hit 35+ J D will be the money corner out fielder this year. Goes Up have an option after 2018?

Austin Jackson just made one of the greatest catches I've ever seen in a game vs. Boston at Fenway. The vertical leap alone is impressive in itself.

Ausmus has to be trying to get himself fired at this point. I mean, Rondon again in a 2 run game with Judge coming up?

Fat boy got an out and dropped his ERA to 12.08.

I always thought that if you catch the ball but your momentum carries you over the fence it should be a HR.

Some of you guys know that Mickey Lolich has held the American League record for Strikeouts in a career by a Left Handed Pitcher for 42 years with 2,679 Strikeouts, all with the Tigers. It is also the Tigers record.

At least for another 5 days he still does.

CC Sabathia entered this game with 2,672 and the boxscore shows he got 3 tonight for a total of 2,675.

Well, records are made to be broken, and Mickey Lolich has had a nice run.

That would be dumb.. That's like a foul ball into the stands caught it's not an out.

It would not be a Tiger game with out a base running out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ready online that 25 pitchers now who are left handed have at least 2000 k's. Didn't realize so many and that Lolich still had the record. He needs some kind of statue in Detroit.
