Mars

That is very interesting, not sure what to make of that, need to get some boots on the ground and start digging out the ruins.

Likely confirmed Pyramid on Mars

Three-Sided Pyramidal Formation in the Western Region of Candor Chasma

They've concluded that the object shows definite evidence of artificial construction, and published their findings in a science paper (co-written by James Miller and Michael Dale) in a recent issue of the Journal of Space Exploration. The pyramid was initially discovered in a 2001 image from the Mars Global Surveyor, and sits alone in a canyon area, leading Saunders to speculate it may have once been part of an island surrounded by water.

The guys that compiled this published paper seemed a little perturbed that C2C is the only media that wanted to talk about it. They sought input from mainstream outlets and scientists and got stone cold silence and don't understand why everybody just ignores it. One guy sarcastically says oh but i'm sure later when we talk calls someone will want to talk about Bigfoot.

And what was really hilarious is that sure enough someone called in later and wanted their thoughts on the possible bigfoot sighting on Mars. LOL. I had to laugh my ass off on that one.

yup! folks it's all sitting right there staring us all right in the face but nobody has anything to say bout it. The crackpots have been right for years. We are a species with amnesia, we have met the Martians and they are us. Mars, Venus and Earth were all nuked tens of thousands of years ago. Cue the Giorgio Meme's yea buddy! And no Mich the earth is much older than 6,000 years, that is just merely the time table from Adam and Eve on..A&E were 6,000 years ago. The story of this age of man!

NASA Curiosity Rover unearths building blocks in 3-billion-year-old organic matter on Mars

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...-3-billion-year-old-organic-matter/681597002/

The "building blocks" for life have been discovered in 3-billion-year-old organic matter on Mars, NASA scientists announced Thursday.

Researchers cannot yet say whether their discovery stems from life or a more mundane geological process. However, “we’re in a really good position to move forward looking for signs of life," said Jennifer Eigenbrode, a NASA biogeochemist and lead author of a study published Thursday in the peer-reviewed journal Science.

The findings were also remarkable in that they showed that organic material can be preserved for billions of years on the harsh Martian surface.

The material was discovered by the Mars Curiosity rover, which has been collecting data on the Red Planet since August 2012. The organic molecules were found in Gale Crater — believed to once contain a shallow lake the size of Florida's Lake Okeechobee.

Stunning NASA image shows how massive 'ice block avalanches' reshape the Martian surface
NASA has been re-imaging sites on Mars using the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter HiRISE instrument
In December 2006, the orbiting spacecraft photographed an area of layered deposits in Mars’ North Pole
A new image shows how avalanches change the surface, with many new ice blocks seen dotting the surface

A NASA spacecraft revisiting Martian sites it first documented over a decade ago has captured the stunning transformation in one region caused by an avalanche of ice.

In December 2006, the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter photographed layered deposits in Mars’ North Pole.

A new image of the same site shows a landscape that looks almost completely different, with new ice blocks covering the ground.

NASA Brings Mars Landing, First in Six Years, to Viewers Everywhere Nov. 26

https://www.nasa.gov/press-release/...rst-in-six-years-to-viewers-everywhere-nov-26

NASA's Mars Interior Exploration using Seismic Investigations, Geodesy and Heat Transport (InSight) lander is scheduled to touch down on the Red Planet at approximately 3 p.m. EST Nov. 26, and viewers everywhere can watch coverage of the event live on NASA Television, the agency's website and social media platforms.

Launched on May 5, InSight marks NASA's first Mars landing since the Curiosity rover in 2012. The landing will kick off a two-year mission in which InSight will become the first spacecraft to study Mars' deep interior. Its data also will help scientists understand the formation of all rocky worlds, including our own.

InSight is being followed to Mars by two mini-spacecraft comprising NASA’s Mars Cube One (MarCO), the first deep-space mission for CubeSats. If MarCO makes its planned Mars flyby, it will attempt to relay data from InSight as it enters the planet’s atmosphere and lands.
InSight and MarCO flight controllers will monitor the spacecraft's entry, descent and landing from mission control at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, California, where all landing events will take place.
