A legend and an icon to the game of hockey. What a tremendous life he lived.

R.I.P Mr. Hockey.

How is that possible, when there were no reports about his passing until today?

Yeah, I can't say I've known what Gordie has been doing lately - not really in the public eye - but knew he was still alive.

My sister worked at his restaurant in TC ...one of the first Smoke Free bars/restaurants there ...he came into other places I worked over the years. Always gracious and polite.

Life well lived too.

Recent reports had him in pretty poor health.

Which is not uncommon shortly before a really old person dies.
