Old NCAA record was 45:12 for a game. Today our offense had the ball for 47:50 seconds.

Crazy.

That?s crazy. Watching the game I honestly didn?t feel like we had the ball that much. Rutgers did not convert on a single third down correct?

We held the ball longer in the first quarter than Rutgers did the whole game.

We were so dominant that we had only 31 total tackles as a team yesterday, Willis led us with 3 tackles.

Rutgers ran 31 offensive plays, 3 of them ended in TFLs and 2 ended in INTs. Rutgers had a total of 5 plays go for more than 5 yards yesterday. Take away the 2 blown coverages and they had 39 total yards.

Rutgers defense had 107 tackles.

Just total domination, had we not had Red Zone issues it would have been a 50 point blowout.

We kicked a lot of FGs until the 4th quarter when their D was completely gassed - including back-to-back first and goal situations. If we play a top 3 SEC team, we'll lose by 24+. Yes it was total domination but this was a banged up and defeated Rutgers team and we had to wear em down for 3 quarters before we could put the game out of reach. If we played that same game against a good opponent we end up with a much different result.
