that seems odd...only 2 players to score 30 in their playoff debuts, so I looked it up. A lot of players have done that or better. Doncic had 42 his first playoff game. Lebron had a triple double in his debut 32/11/11

even that list may be outdated. Anthony Edwards of MN scored 36 in his postseason debut on Saturday too.

Edwards did it on Saturday, Poole Sunday - article written Sunday. Maybe you meant they didn't know Edwards did it the day before. My guess is they probably did but could be wrong.
