    overall, a pretty underwhelming trade deadline for the Tigers. They had the best pitcher "available" in Skubal and the best available rental in Flaherty. I was hoping for some really high end prospects.

    MLB baseball show on MLB on XM are saying they are very surprised that the return for Flaherty was very light. Looking at what the return was for other lesser pitchers was, I think they are right. I think Harris waiting until the last minute wasn't a good idea.

    Liranzo is a 21 year old catcher/1b who is in high A ball. He is currently their #8 ranked prospect. Trey Sweeney is a 24 year old SS that is in AAA. He is their #22 prospect.

    based on what other teams have received for rentals that have been less effective than Flarhety, I think they will. I agree with you on Baltimore. I don't think they will give what the Tigers should want.

    I hope Skubal gets traded to Baltimore today. This season is over and I don't have much hope for what this team has in the farm (as far as top end talent) Trade him to Baltimore for 3 of their top 10 prospects and get a teams top 10 for Flaherty.
