    I can't believe they resigned McKinstry. I could care less about his 18 positions he plays but if he gets more than 50 PA I'll be disappointed.

    I'm not sure on this. He can be a decent hitter even a very good hitter (.845 OPS over last 108 games). And he's solid defensive player at 3B. The big problem will be the years he'll most likely get. I don't care about the money so much, it's not mine .. but I don't want someone for 7-8 years...

    This list - those are not the teams I'd expect to be in on the top guy. So many mid west teams. Guys from Japan seem to like the west coast so maybe Seattle has the best chance.

    They signed the 4th best IFA guy just recent. 16 year old Power Arm RF. And that used up about 3.5 of the IFA budget. Not sure they have enough to get Sasaki. And those guys seem to like the west coast but I can dream.

    Depends if you can get someone who isn't old as fk I'd be okay with that - prospects are just that prospects. I'm okay trading them. The chance them succeeding is riskier than a proven guy (Javy Baez not withstanding). Maybe we get another Miggy Type trade.

    Outside the Michigan title season this past season I haven't watched a bowl game since before the BCS. Since New Years day was the last games that were being played. I never liked the playoff format and now that its 12 teams its even more dumb.

    You'll still need those players whoever they are to want to come here. And if these players have lots of options other teams can just offer more money. Detroit is not a top designation. We'd be better offer making a trade or try and get tier b and tier c free agents.
