Game 2: Lions @ Packers Thread

So, I honestly think the first quarter Lions is the BEST they have in them. They'll play hard initially, maybe steal a couple TDs and catch the opponent off-guard. The other 75 percent of the team is what you are seeing now. They suck.

Punting from the 1 and/or potentially get tackled in the end zone for a safety vs not those things. Yes, there's a big difference. He should know better not to roll the dice unnecessarily and harm the team.

Game 2: Lions @ Packers Thread

I expect him to not make decisions that a 1st year quarterback would do in his 29th season. The team sucks top to bottom, I get it.

You can see it in their eyes. Rodgers- Never any panic. Takes his time, goes through his routes. Stafford- backed up to his 5, runs backwards, tries to run around, gets sacked at the 1.

Disagree. Absolutely no need to do that. That's on the team being stupid. And another one as I type this.

Game 2: Lions @ Packers Thread

I could have mis-heard this, but aren't the Lions worst in the league since Patricia took over in terms of getting turnovers?

Game 1: Bears @ Lions Thread

Tell ya what, if they go 0-4 to start this season, which is looking VERY likely with the rest of this schedule, do not take Patricia on the plane to Jacksonville after the bye. There would be ZERO REASON to keep him as coach if he starts 0-4.

Game 1: Bears @ Lions Thread

I have not posted here in about six months, and this is how much I felt I needed to. I can't stand this franchise. I can't fucking stand them. For the FIRST FUCKING TIME in like maybe FIVE years, I finally, FINALLY got excited. I cheered the touchdowns, I cheered the stops, I was here. I was...

The 2020 how you would have done it post-draft draft

Yep. Or just say nothing at all. Gutless on Quinn's part. There is a reason the best GMs are where they are. They know how to play the GMs that are behind the curve. I said it before, he's got the Avila syndrome. He basically makes all his intentions public and cripples his players' value.

The 2020 how you would have done it post-draft draft

https://www.detroitnews.com/story/sports/nfl/lions/2020/04/28/lions-gm-bob-quinn-drafting-tua-tagovailoa-trade-chip-too-risky/3038700001/ This is why Quinn is just not a good GM. Has absolutely no foresight or guts to make other teams pay for what they want. I am pretty confident everyone and...

    Draft Thread 2020

I would not worry about them turning it around under Patricia. This team is still incredibly void of talent compared to the upper echelon.

    Draft Thread 2020

I just cannot accept there was nothing to be had. I always feel this ownership and management is playing poker with 4 cards.

    Draft Thread 2020

It's more towards the latter. I still am not on board with taking a CB that high, but it's more that he didn't trade down, and I absolutely do not accept there was not a move to be made. Quinn buried himself when he came out publicly and shut down Stafford rumors. If he had any guts, he would...

    Draft Thread 2020

TBH, I am still very apathetic towards the Lions. I am hoping they can bring me back someday because I used to be a very passionate follower. I kinda feel the same way I do about Michigan football, but they still have a little bit of my care. So, I say "raged-quit" tongue in cheek. Honestly...

    Draft Thread 2020

I'm exactly the opposite. I raged-quit after the Okudah pick, but I thought the Swift choice was an excellent decision. The rest of it was meh to good.

    Draft Thread 2020

Honestly, I love the entertainment value of it, so I hope they do also. If they truly cared about the team, there are a bazillion options here and it would almost be impossible to screw it up.

    Draft Thread 2020

Well, big difference here. Russell Wilson can throw the ball. Hurts can't.

    Draft Thread 2020

Just heard on the radio that Jalen Hurts is in play for 2nd round. If they draft him, I don't have a single fucking clue what their plan is.

    Draft Thread 2020

Worse. Made a bunch of meh free agency signings. Drafted a guy that is basically going to be taking Slay's spot, minus the experience. The QB is another year older and now has a serious worry in terms of his last injury. And they still have the same head coach.

    Draft Thread 2020

Of course he was. But Quinn was too busy making sure that they didn't upset Stafford's feelings. Once he dispelled those rumors, they fucked themselves. He's taking a page out of Avila's book. Just yelling their intentions from the top of the roof top and damaging their plans. Our teams need...
