I still say it was Terrell Davis that watered it down. He played 8 seasons.... he had four good ones, one of which was amazing, three not so good, and the last one he never touched the field. He was in fact a Superbowl hero twice. He did have a 2,000 yard season. He was short of 8,000 career...- inkfreq

In my personal opinion, the qualifications to reach the Hall of Fame have been vastly watered down since Terrell Davis was inducted. I feel like the bar has been lowered to allow standout players from all the teams in, which is a way to market Canton to people... come see your favorite players...- inkfreq

Like him or not, that's dedication. The team told him to take as much time as he needs. It's voluntary workouts. He reported Monday morning following the surgery. I wouldn't have. I don't think many people would have. But he's the team leader, and he's acting accordingly...- inkfreq

I suspect LKP is right. It's one of those rare circumstances, but I honestly think Stafford has a shot at the HoF. When the voters vote, it's all about numbers, and I think he's putting up the numbers to do it.- inkfreq

I lost 100% hearing in my left ear years ago. It took a few months to get used to, but trust me, it's no world ender. She will live a normal healthy life if that's all it is. Here's to hoping they save her hearing against the odds, but even more so, that she's okay.- inkfreq

Honestly, I would love to say "Whoever the Raiders pick". They have the most over-hyped overrated coach in NFL history and a GM who made his living making up mock drafts, and doing a terrible job at it. Who is your pick for the guy you think will be the biggest first round bust this year? It might get me skinned alive, but I think it's Rashan Gary. I just don't see anything from this guy that to me says first rounder or impact player.- inkfreq
