100 Unintended Consequences

I'm sure those are just the tip of the iceberg, but don't worry, an amendment to the law will come out changing the minimum hours to 20, and these companies will once again cut hours to be under the target, then another amendment to 15, more cut hours, then 10 and finally mandated that even if a person works for one second it requires health care coverage and at some point either the workers have to hold down multiple jobs and balance their schedules or the companies will flat out have to close shop or prices for goods and services will have to increase to cover expenses else the company closes shop. Meanwhile the value of ones dollar falls dramatically due to price increases and inflation runs amok.

Short-sighted politics at its best. But that's all ok cuz anyone who somehow manages to keep their job will not be given raises and discover taxes are higher with each amendment until they decide they are better off not working and living off government too.

But that's the Dem goal anyway, get more peopple dependent on government and thereby insuring more votes. We can always just print more money to cover it all.

The comedy is just beginning, and the people that need the most help will be most affected.

explain to me why people who are on the govt dime would vote to have people come into office and take away that dime?

you can't. all you can do is try to deflect from the point using insults and what you perceive to be comedic retort.

come on, give us another one stud. show us how big your brain is while not actually addressing the comment.

Okay..

Do you really think this deserves a serious reply?

I'm not deflecting your point at all, because your point is pointless. It's as stupid as people who think Obama is a Muslim, or a communist.

You defending the notion that the Democrats want a nation of poor people so they can get them to vote and keep them in office puts you squarely at the top of the LOL list.

Seriously, you are wading right back into tinfoil hat territory.

Many of the municipal bankruptcies at the county or city level in California are a result of retired fire/police/etc. drawing off their pensions and then working again, double-dipping with salary. One former police chief in San Bernadino was making something like $225,000/year between his "retirement benefits" he was already drawing, along with getting paid to be a police officer ...often drawing "time and a half" for things like working sporting events and parades.
