2018 roster and Fall camp

Jon Reschke is on it, but the team still controls whether he'll be on the team and he's not going to be on scholarship either way.

Notable:
Chewins 6-8, 290, still adding weight, would like to see him closer to 300.
Ohonda, 6-4, 341, he could play right away
Matt Carrick 6-4, 317 might push for a spot in the rotation, was raved about before he got hurt.
David Beedle 6-4, 330 is massive and on the Outland Trrophy list.
Jarvis at 6-4 is up to 321 and can move, was a stud in the Bowl game.
Acuri is up to 285 at 6-7 and should see some backup reps at LT.
Naquan at 6-4 is 339 lbs at DT.
Mike Panasiuk lost some weight and will play at 285 this year.
True freshman DT Mallory came in at 331 lbs, bet they want him around 310.
Dotson up to 250 lbs and might start over Sokol at TE
True freshman TE Trenton Gillison came in at 6-4, 250 and could see time early
We added a transfer in 6-5, 265 TE Jonathon Brys from New Mexico, he was a 3 star recruit a couple years back.
Freshman Jack Camper is listed as a DE at 6-4, 248, played TE and DE at IMG Academy last year, he's a great athlete.

The roster is dominated by juniors, very few seniors will be in the 2 deep, we should return 17 or 18 of 22 starters in 2019.

Shakur Brown is the name to know. He';s dazzled this Summer and will start at corner back in the opener in place of the injured Josiah Scott. Josh Butler will backup Justin Layne at the other spot.

Tre Person had the same buzz last season, but then got hurt early, he'll be the nickleback in game 1 this year. Person is an interesting recruit, he played in a defensive backfield with a 5 near 5 star corner who went to Clemson, but the coach said Person was better and teams never threw at him, just wasn't as big. He would have pushed Josiah Scott to start last season if he hadn't gotten hurt.

The way the players have been talking, they don't expect Scott to be out too long. We have some good quality depth in the defensive backfield and linebacker, not so much at DE but hearing good things about Camper and Jacub Panisiuk

Butler apparently will start, but it?s great to hear Brown and Person are pushing for PT.

Jacub P will start, but Camper might play on passing downs.

Still not sure who will start at MONEY, Thompson, Randle, or Reschke.

Higby leads Allen to start at C.

All those guys will get snaps, I'm sure the competition will still be going on for a few weeks. We also will have Randle as a rush end on 3rd down. We actually showed some 3-4 in the bowl game with Wilikes as the 4th linebacker, not sure if that will be part of the package.
