Shit....I wish the Lions would have rented him for the year at that price. Given, the Lions probably would have had to push it into the 2+M range.....it would have been a nice temporary fix until we find out what we have at CB#2 (Green, Greenwood or Bently pans out) or.....as LKP like to point out, Bartell makes another pro bowl run......OR..draft another CB in 2014.

Meh he's a strictly press man guy who can't do much else..stiff in the hips and has a hard time getting in the pockets of inside route runners of todays short passing game. He's a nice talent but he's gonna have to earn it in San Fran.
