A little early but what may come

I posted this on the ESPN board in response to a thread there;
The hype for this team is great. As for will it be as good as the 84 team only time will tell. And as for that, the injury to Fister will be a factor. As the 84 team had little injuries.



Imo the 2007 team did as least for me was going to be a great team as it's Pitching seem to be set and ready to go the distance, until the injury bug took a toll. And as we all remember it really took the Tigers for a ride that seem like a nightmare. In 2008 it was a nightmare.



Yes it's only two games but so far those two games have delivered what most were hopeing for. In fact it all ready has given something that has only happen a few times in Tiger history. Two infielders hitting two or more Homeruns in the same game, and in only the second game Cabrera and Fielder did it. Really I was supprised to read it had only happen three times before! Which has gotten me to thinking just how many times two teammates have done it. Cabrera and Fielder could be on a most remembered season this year?
