If you could have your perfect day 3 draft, what would it look like? Mine would look something like this...

Round 4 (111): Connor Cook - QB - MSU
Round 4 (trade up using pick 169 and pick 202): Zach Sanchez - CB - Oklahoma
Round 5 (151): Ron Thompson - DE - Syracuse
Round 6 (191): Rico Gathers - TE- Baylor
Round 6 (210): Jayron Kearse - S - Clemson
Round 7 (236): Perez Ford - LB - Northern Illinois

I want a Mike. Release Tulloch. I do hope they trade back up into the 4th. And they need a WR, somewhere.

I don't think they need a WR because I'm not sure any WR left on the board can even crack our roster.

The thing I like about Ford is he can play any of the LB spots.

Two linebackers that caught my eye were Kentrell Brothers and Joshua Perry. Out of the two Joshua is a bigger Linebacker 6'4 254. I highly doubt either one will be there at pick 111 where the Lions are in round 4. But they do have a lot of picks in these later rounds so perhaps we will find some diamonds in the rough.

I like Whitehead, don't get me wrong, but Brothers is who I want. So productive in college, 152 tackles last year, lol. 42 more than anybody in the SEC

Wonder if Tulloch will be traded today, I figured he would be gone already

Skill position players I'm looking at are Aaron burbridge from msu and Jordan Howard running back from Indiana.

Ummmmmmmm......have you seen our roster??

Kerley
T.J. Jones
Fuller
Spadola
Washington
Willis

Kerley is a proven player......the rest are a bunch of nobodies. Fuller and Jones have had 5 combined seasons and and little to nothing to show for it. We need to upgrade the #4 and #5 WRs.

The problem.is we need to upgrade.

I am not sure there is a WR left on the board that is an upgrade.

I think TJ Jones is my dark horse for the year. Guy might step up and do something. I've given up on Fuller, completely

I like Sheldon Day, Rashard Higgins, Jeremy Cash, Scooby Wright, Jayron Kearse, Kentrell Brothers, Joe Schobert, and Vernon Adams Jr. I'll be happy to get any of those guys.

There goes Cook. My first backup plan is Dak Prescott.

Is it possible for Andrew Billings to get to us? And if so, do they take him if he is still available?

Fuller can be easily replaced. He has been nothing but an "athlete" his whole career. How about pick someone who knows how to play a little. Even in college dude didn't do much.
