martin should have got punter. nice to see warford get credit. Young, delmas and quin got put on the list simply cause the division sucked at those positions. Delmas made it on with 1 vote lol.

That's pathetic. I'm sure it was between Stafford and Ponder. How in the shell did Willie Young get voted in..

Willie Young had 8 QB hits 48 hurries, 4 pass defelctions and good run defense (+5.1). Not just about 3 sacks.

Who said I was looking at just sacks?

It's clear you were since Young was good in every other area.

Looking at just sacks or terrible at assessing Young. You pick. Which one are you?

Even in an off year I would have chosen Peppers.

He was a monster but I didn't watch enough of him to know what he did as a whole in 2013.

Allen had 10 more QB hits, 14 less hurries than Young (despite more snaps) but 8.5 more sacks than Young. Allen played more snaps. Young beat Allen in run defense by a decent margin though.

I'd take Allen just on the name and the fact he gets more attention than Young. But Young produced.

He had less hurries because he actually got to the QB. I'll take him because he actually produced more. 8.5 sacks > 14 hurries

Jared Allen is/was better, period.

Matthew Stafford, that sure is a weird way to spell Aaron Rodgers.

Allen had way more pass rush snaps. He doesn't get to the QB at a more efficient rate, just has more opportunities. And Allen was worse in run defense.

Stafford beat bears twice. Calvin td beating Tillman better than conte miscommunication thinking zone.

Wide open cobb

It's a lot more than just head-to-head matchups. Personally I think Stafford got picked because he stayed healthy. I don't think he's picked if either Cutler or Rodgers stay healthy.

And lost 9 times. I know, he didn't lose any of those. It was someone else's fault but the wins were all him..

:lmao:
