Teams are 1-8 in the game after facing us this season, with the lone win being Youngstown State who is 8-1. You think we maybe are wrecking teams a little? Some of it is just chance, but Michigan definitely looked like a team that was beaten up and shellshocked vs Nebraska last week. Gardner's 40 time has to have gone from 4.55 to 4.95 over the course of the season. He was outrunning defenses all the time early in the season.

Also, Dantonio is 6-0 at MSU in the game after Michigan, going for 7-0 on Saturday.

Perhaps by and large, our opponents are playing pretty good teams the following week.

I'll agree that UofM seemed to let MSU "beat them twice". The beatdown that Gardner physically absorbed from MSU was still evident a week later. The overall team confidence was seemingly shaken a week later as well.
