With players left on the board give it your best mayhew shot:

1) Aaron Donald DT
I would have had a real hard time deciding between Lewan, Donald and Ebron with Gilbert off the board. Therefor, I would have stuck to my predraft strategy of focusing on defense....without knowing the future of fairley or suh....Donald is a nice insurance policy.

2) Van Noy OLB
Again another tough choice between Van Noy and a falling Ealy. Mayhew's best pick was Van Noy imo...just didn't like the fact we traded up for him and lost value. Usually id go with DE as a bigger need than a OLB. Although, I will say its yet to be seen how our OLBs are used in the new system. One thing is for sure....Van Noy will see the field as a 3 down backer much more than Palmer did. Therefor I picked the OLB here with hope that he is used to create more pressure than Palmer did. Since no one picked an OLB (attaucho) ill go ahead and assume he would have been there 5 picks later and not give up my 4th :D

3) Kareem Martin DE
Martin at this point is great valu in a position of need. Will push Jones to start.

4a) Martavis Bryant WR
Tall big WR that will cause match up issues 1 v 1 opposite Calvin. Has the speed to be a deep threat and stretch the filed vertically.

4b) Tom Savage QB
Need a back up with potential incase Stafford continues to fail.

4c) David Yankey G
Potential replacement for Sims. Value pick here after he fell compared to projections.

6) Craig Loston S
Im not ok with Carey as our safety depth. Not sure why Loston didn't go drafted.....something happened cause most sites had him as the 5th or 6th best S in the draft.

7) Chris Boswell K
Him and Fera were the only kickers I knew about entering the draft. Im good with the freese pick just really didn't know anything about him. Therefor, I would have picked the top ranked kicker on the board.

Obviously a flawed approach but fuck it, I'll bite.

1.) Darqueze Dennard CB

2.) Kyle Van Noy LB (Really nailed that pick I think)

3.) Terrence Brooks S

4.) Martavis Bryant WR

4b.) Nevin Lawson CB (Another pick I really liked)

4c.) Caraun Reid (He was actually one of the highest ranked players taken in the 5th round by some people)

6.) Gabe Ikard C (Another player that went undrafted that I was surprised about, he was ranked top 5 among centers on some boards, was very strong for Oklahoma)

7.) Brandon Coleman WR (I'm blown away he wasn't drafted, bye bye Durham or Ogletree)

I'll play along.

1) Donald
2) Van Noy
3) Bruce Ellington
4) Nelvin Lawson
4) Larry Webster
5) AJ McCarron
6) Jordan Zumwalt
7) Nate Freese

I trust Mayhew but I wouldn't have traded in the 2nd losing value in the 4th in this draft and I would have taken a backup QB over Nevis Lawson probably late 4th. I don't see a late round safety being better than Carey or IAQ.

Without the trade, take McGill early Round 4 and then McCarron at Nevis's pick then Webster.

I think Donald has a legit chance at DROY on that line.
