Practice Report: Lions mostly healthy
September, 27, 2013
Sep 2712:16PM ETBy Michael Rothstein | ESPN.com Recommend1Tweet2Comments1EmailPrintALLEN PARK, Mich. -- On Monday, Detroit Lions coach Jim Schwartz said he thought there could be an issue having guys out at practice this week because of injuries.

Turns out -- not so much.

The Lions were almost completely healthy for the second straight day. Wide receiver Nate Burleson (who will be missing practice for a while) wasn't there as he recovers from forearm surgery.

Also not in attendance was safety Louis Delmas, but that is not surprising since he has not practiced on a Friday yet this season in an attempt to rest his knees.

Of course, the Lions listed multiple players as limited after Thursday's practice, so that number might be higher later today, but for the most part Detroit is healthy heading into its rivalry game with Chicago.

Ziggy Ansah - DL - Lions Lions rookie RE Ziggy Ansah (abdomen) was a limited participant in practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Week 4.
He remains on track to play in Sunday's matchup with the Bears. Ansah already has 11 tackles and 2.5 sacks through the first three weeks. Sep 27 - 8:18 PM
