thinking about maken the trip if i can get some tickets.

I'm going. Leaving Friday morning...spending the day in Chicago, staying at my favorite dive, Best Western River North.

Now the embarrassing part....due to the Chicago marathon, the only room I could get for Sat night is at (gulp) The European Margarita B and B........normally not a problem......but I'm going with a DUDE. I have not told him of this yet...just didn't know how

Let me know if you make the trip....sorry, no extra tix here...should be easy ones to find if 'ya want

Damfran, I thought you were kidding at first and had to check that such an establishment existed. To be fair, seems like a B and B in name only.

You gonna be there Friday night?.....Early Sat? I plan on doing some damage Fri night at a few of my fav watering holes in Chi.

After checking in at the (still think it's kinda swishy) B and B.....I have like 1pm to kickoff open to tailgate / meander about. I have alumni party tix...might not use em.....that scene gets old...prefer the slice of life campus scene

Ahhh go figure, it's Yom Kippur (Fri sun down to Sat sun down). God would be disappointed but understanding, it's my wife's reaction to me getting lubed up Friday night or Saturday during the day that I'm concerned about.

Leave her at home. Nobody here will judge you if you want to take one of your buddies with you...even if you are going to take him without telling him you'll be spending the night at a cozy little B & B.
