In his presser today izzo said that's his next major decision.

If you asked any of us in the beginning of the season who wed least want to lose for a stretch, you'd get a few different answers but we've lost all of then

That sucks big time. It was obvious he wasn't the same last night. He air balled a three and really looked like he wanted no part of that game. These injuries are really frustrating..

That 3 was the first he had shot in weeks. The tough thing is how important the pg position is and how hard it is to work him back in. Getting Dawson back in the rotation is easy, you just tell him to defend and rebound but everything goes through keith.

This reminds me a lot of duke losing kelly and previously kyrie irving but its all happening in the same season

Yep, and Duke plugged Kelly right back in and kept on going last year. They just ran into a better team in the Elite 8. That team that had Irving was never the same even after he came back.

Appling had a breakthrough today. Awoke with no pain and went all practice. Will play Thursday, maybe big minutes.

Or maybe he wakes up tomorrow and it's locked up again. The way this season has went I'm not holding my breath.

This weekend vs Michigan will have been just over 4 weeks. Their next game after that is nearly a week later March 1st vs Illinois. That seems like the best bet.

Id expect a full 6 weeks with an injury like that. Ive seldom heard someone able to compete after 4 weeks with any sort of break or fracture.

Dawson gets the screws out Thursday, should be back in about a week after that.

Appling practiced todayn wasn't sharp but took part in most of it. He said that he woke up today and felt a lot better.

Last I heard on Dawson is that he might play a few defensive possessions on sunday, out Thursday for sure. I think his game will come back sooner
