Arizona promised Rich Rodriguez a game with UofM

good. assuming he's even still there in 3 years, and hasn't been fired yet (he would be fired because he's a shitty coach) we will smoke them.

lol how can AZ promise a game that hasn't been discussed yet?

Bad idea, can you imagine if we lost? I mean, I don't THINK we would lose - but it would be really bad if we did.

If the game is at Michigan Stadium, our post game victory song should be Josh Groban.

Hoke and Mattison should stand on the 50 and sing it mockingly to RR as Arizona heads to the locker room.

Michigan isn't going to Arizona. It's as simple as that. If they want the game, they're coming to the big house. I'm sure Dick would want that as well.

[quote="Danny Diggler":e1r9jwae]DB would never agree to this..

i hope he does. [/quote:e1r9jwae]

I hope he does too, but I wouldn't bet on it.

AZ's dumbass AD may try to prod him into it. It's a win-win for their crappy program.

When was the last time anyone cared about an AZ OOC game?

there's that too.

I'm guessing neither side had an attorney review that "agreement."

"Review before signing? NAH... I'm a shoot-from-the-hip kinda guy. Gimme a pen."

I'd love to see it, but DB is too pragmatic to consider it.

It's a high risk, no reward situation.

then again... what side of Brandon is going to make the decision?

Will it be the businessman in him, who looks at a no-strings-attached home game with a BCS conference opponent headed by a former, much-disliked coach, vs. a MAC opponent that fans can't GIVE their tickets away for?

OR

The voice of reason who doesn't want the headache of having to listen to a week of nonsense and mudslinging in the media, revisiting an ugly coaching episode that had finally started to fade into the past?

AZ AD: "Yeah, Rich ... I guarantee a game with Michigan for you!"

RR: "Aw shucks, that's mighty nice of ya ... I got to bake those cookies but didn't get to eat em!"

AZ AD: "I hear ya buddy and that's why I have already contacted the AD in East Lansing about playing the Spartans."

RR: "Uh ......"

AZ AD: "Yeah, screw Michigan ... screw the Spartans!"

Michigan last played Arizona in 1978, a 21-17 Michigan win.

Rich Rod, addressing his new team, said he didn't think anyone of the players was a turd.....

Stay Classy, Dick!

That is absolutely hilarious!

I wish we could play them right now. Denard would run all over em and our defense under Mattison would smack em sideways

i really don't like the idea - this is RR wanting some kind if show down

i also think it is silly to play now - if you want it as a showdown, let each coach have several years to get their own players
