Austin Jackson will be a top 5 mvp candidate this year.

It would be great if he even finished 10th in MVP voting. I would take that in a heartbeat.

He's got the juice.

I agree. I may even go so far as to say he could win the batting title. I bet he hits over 20 HR this year. I have never seen such a hitting transformation. When it's all said and done, we may have completely scored on the Granderson trade, and to think I was so pissed about it at the time.

That's how good organizations improve or stay competitive. I would like to see the Tigers do the same thing with Prince in the next few years.

Wait, you want them to do what with Prince?

He hit .313 last year, (career high) so obviously he does not need his hitting corrected.

Or are you saying you want to see him traded before he gets a big payday? (oops, might have missed the boat on that one)

Yes....I would like to see the Tigers trade Prince in the next few years for a similar haul that they recieved for Granderson.

Granderson was on the cusp of a major contract, which was why the Tigers traded him. Prince was signed to a long-term contract because they Tigers felt he was worth the risk of keeping for nine years. But if the Tigers did trade Fielder, I'd expect a lot more in return than the Tigers got for Granderson.

I would be thrilled with an Austin Jackson type OF and a Max Scherzer type pitcher for Prince.
