Backup QB 2017 Free Agency

Some decent backups available in free agency.

Hoyer, Glennon, Nassib and Landry Jones are intriguing. Even Fitzpatrick as a backup but that would be costly.

Dan O is a free agent. Ruddock isn't ready but should stay as 3rd string

I hope they get a new backup QB.

Backup QB should be a minimum salary position with this team. Either we are developing someone from the late rounds (Rudock), or we should be taking the lowest bidder in free agency. This team is barely setup to win with a good QB (Stafford). There's simply no point in throwing resources at a player that would never have a chance to succeed if he played.

In any event where Stafford can't play, the offense is hosed. Get rid of Dan's contract, not because he's terrible (though he's not good), but because he provides no value.

Spend the money on filling out your starters on defense. Let Ruddock be the #2. Orlovsky can be staffords like 10th qb coach. Maybe 10th time is the charm!
