Pretty cool video I found today...

I should have assumed as much considering he was a World class athlete, but Damn Barry had some hops!

On a side note, it would be awesome seeing this today - Id love to have seen a prime Megatron throw down....but that would never happen nowadays. Too much money tied into these guys.

I've thought for years now the best thing the NFL could do to replace the ridiculous Pro Bowl game is a return of the old NFL Skills competition.

NFL Fastest man races were must see TV when I was growing up. Bring that back. There is one thing I can speak to......fast guys LOVE proving they're fast. You would get BIG TIME names in those races. Every year. Would have loved to see a Chris Johnson vs Calvin Johnson race back in 2007 or 2008.

Less risky than playing in a game.

Definitely, the fastest man competition was worth watching. I would've liked to have seen CJ vs Jahvid Best.

You'd get a good mix of young speedy guys, some vets still looking to show and probably even a few older guys.....

Either way.....WAY more entertaining than the Pro Bowl.

Also, for QB's you could do a fastest throw.....some accuracy drills.....things like that.

Lineman could have a "World Strongmest Man" competition between them.

ANYTHING is better than that fuckin game!!!

Does anyone remember when that skills competition beach flag football cost that rookie his career? I think that was the last year for skills in general. Shame because like you guys I think it would be fun to watch.

Matt Stafford in the accuracy competition would be a hoot, I heard he over threw a guy in a Pepsi commercial once.

Robert Edwards. Played for the Patriots.....was gonna be a good one too

I love how the fans appreciated such a simple dunk back in 1990. Today, that would be a 1/10.

Ahh, the good old days.

I haven't watched the Pro Bowl in years but I would watch the shit out of a skills competition where all the players were mic'd up and goofing around.
