That chart comparing his single season to the entire 2017 NCAA's best game by game...and still coming out ahead. That's mind blowing.

Great article! Basketball really was his first love. I remember when he retired and sort of disappeared and the media was still searching for him...I'd see him up at Lifetime Fitness in Troy playing hoops at 10 at night on Tuesdays. That wouldn't have been able to happen in this day age. Someone would have been taping it and putting it online in 30 seconds.

Even that high school highlight film in that article is pretty insane. That's the thing about Barry...he's timeless. Usually as decades move on you see highlights of a lot of former players and say, yeah but he wouldn't be that great in this era, etc. I think in 40-50 years people will still see highlights of Barry and say, damn that dude was pretty amazing.
