Discovered this today, thought it was pretty interesting.

1st order is based on actual runs scored/allowed
2nd order is based on projected runs scored/allowed (based on team stats and park factors)
3rd order is based on further projected runs scored/allowed (based on opponent quality in addition to the above)

Based on 2nd and 3rd order, DET is the 6th best team in the AL. Seems about right.
