Yes, BP has come up with a new metric to measure fielding. They claim Trammell was a below average fielder using this new metric. I have been critical of some of the newer statistics in the past, but this takes the cake. Heymand told the BP rep he was high (not in those words).
 
below average arm maybe, but certainly a average to good glove at least. imo

I have not seen it. The guy from BP said they were rolling it out. I thought he was kinda smug...and John Heymand thought it was ridiculous...
