Bears targeting Treadwell?

Could be a sign they are planning to try and trade Jeffrey or possibly don't feel good they will be able to sing him long term.

Has to be. Really no other reason to add Treadwell. If he's drafted.....Alshon has exactly 16 games left as a Bear. I think its more smokescreen than anything. Chicago looking to trade down and grab picks. Put out the word that they want Treadwell and see if anyone is willing to trade up and get him.

Actually drafting him would be Millenesque. Rogers, Roy E and Mike Williams......WATCH OUT!!!!!

Aren't we the same fan base that said Mayhew was an idiot for not drafting Aaron Donald when he knew Suh and Fairley were both potentially walking away in another year?

But now we're calling the Bears GM names for potentially drafting the replacement to Alshon when he could walk in a year?

If I had a crack at drafting Treadwell this season and letting Alshon walk next year, I would have to seriously consider it.

I'm not doing that. Maybe I wasn't as clear as I thought I was.....

If Treadwell is drafted.......Alshon has 16 games left. I can get with that.
However, if Treadwell is drafted and they attempt to keep Jeffery......its a Millenesque move..... i.e. "Mary Jane" Rogers, "First Down" Williams & "Buffet" Williams!!
