Don't know if it has been written about here or not but Best left the fourth quarter with a concussion. He may be out this week. How big of a impact does that make on us this week against the falcons?

could very well lead to another loss. those screens to him out of the backfield are the closest thing to a running game that we have. without that Stafford will more than likely be pushing 50 passing attempts this sunday which doesn't look so good

Not sure which exact play it was, but it looked like he slammed the back of his head onto the turf sometime in the first half. He was def slow getting up. I wonder if that was the play...

big loss...he has more yards from the line of scrimmage than AP...bring back A Brown

Makes our running game better. Best is awful at finding a hole and grinding out 3-5 yards. It does reduce our big play ability...but our standard run offense will be better.

I don't see a major impact. Yeah Best has the potential for an occasional big play, but Morris is a guy that gets the ball and hits the hole as fast as he can. No dancing around just downhill running, and he can catch the ball as well.

any way you want to draw it up best is averaging over 100 yards of offense a game for us..

112.83 to be exact.

and best is second on our team with 7 plays of 20+ yards..cal is first with 9..and 3rd most is nate burleson with 4

we all knew as did the Lions , Best was a concussion waiting to happen when he was drafted...

oh well , hopefully he passes the baseline tests early in the week and is good to go vs Atlanta.

My guess is that Best got the concussion on the play where he ran down the left sideline before being brought down about 10 yards short of the endzone as his head slammed into the ground. He was pretty slow to get up after that. I think it was a screen play.

3 times now in just over 2 years. Kid will be lucky to last another 2 years in the NFL. Didnt like the draft pick when it happened....still dont.

News on the Lions never seems to get better lately, gotta have at least a semblance of a running game, which is gradually slipping out of the Lions' grasp.

If they want to avoid becoming the 21st century version of the '80 Lions, they may need to trade for another RB, since Best may be just one more bell rung away from being done for this season.

:(

Yea I dont like to hear that Best has another concussion...as was previously said 3 in 2 years is worrisome.

I hope that he can pass the baseline test and play vs Atlanta...but if he cannot go I am confident that Morris will be adequate. Titus young would prob get more screen looks too.

This is Logans opportunity to come up big for us, since the NFL pretty much got rid of kickoff returning.

Hmm... Devin Hester didn't get the memo

Durant, Scheff and now Best all out with Concussions. The run game is bad but Best makes big plays. This will hurt.

I think I remember Best getting hit helmet to helmet by number 90 when he ran up the middle once. It was a pretty hard hit too.
