2 beautiful plays!

Got to give some props to the Bears, esp. their QB Cutler, who amazingly did not commit even one turnover in the air or on the turf, unlike Romo had vs the Lions in their previous game.

Despite having all of that gaudy raw emotion that was enveloping the gridiron, with 67+K fans shrieking to see their offense's mangled bodies lying stiff and prone, being scattered all over the field, they managed to come out of the first half with a lead in an extremely hostile environment, and managing to put at least a damper on the unbelievable din, even after getting behind 7-0 early. Have to admit too, that I was quite pissed @ the Lions D for playing very undisciplined football, and trying to destroy Cutler while committing stupid penalties during their wild attempts.

Fortunately, the Lions have an explosive offense, and Jahvid Best having his...well...best game BY FAR as a Lion, the Lions again were able to overcome yet another, albeit much smaller first half deficit, and win in the second half.

Lions, however cannot continue to expect that they can just come into a game and play mostly sloppy football on both O and D (due to their youthful exuberance) for the first half of every game, and then make up for their mistakes in the second half. Eventually, and maybe as soon as in their next game @ home vs the 49ers, they may find out that their opponents may be able to make successful adjustments to limit big plays and control the LOS, if not ensure that they are NOT going to be the Lions latest second half victims.

I don't consider penalties as "sloppy" football. Maybe a bit amped up, just dumb penalties. But the defense and offense to a lesser exteng weren't sloppy at all. They played good.
