According to the Detroit Free Press' Dave Birkett, the Lions remain "firmly committed" to Nate Burleson and DT Corey Williams.
Birkett suggested earlier this month that both were candidates for release, but that's apparently no longer the case. Lions GM Martin Mayhew insisted in January that Burleson would be back next season after catching a career-high 73 passes in 2011.

Really? Williams staying at his $5 million salary? Dunno how they could possibly fit Cliff without that space.

Probably want to see a full year out of Fairley, or even a full game.

They can fit them with a Calvin deal and some restructures that aren't future killers. I think this is KVBs,Raiola,Corey Williams and Hansons last year as a Lion though.

Throw Backus, Peterman, and maybe Burleson in there.

Backus yeah, Peterman and Burleson maybe not. Burleson has 2 more years after this year and Peterman's contract isn't that high. Depends if we draft a guard this year and if they restrcuture Burleson making his cap number in 2013 grow too much.

I don't think Cliff will be here. We'll slap a tag on him and someone will see all those sacks, a DE and youth and snag him up. And it'll be fine by me. He want's huge money, so I expect he'll be gone.
