Boesch's Defense

He's looked awful in right field this year taking bad routes and unable to run down anything. I was surprised with how bad his UZR was but it certainly passed the eye test. It's a small sample but he's never been a spectacular defender and he looks way worse this year. http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=914&position=OF#fielding

Along with Delmon out there it seems we're costing a lot of runs that even an average defense would track down.

It has been horrible.

Boesch was very bad in 2010, but he took big steps forward last year, only to completely regress this year.

I hold my breath on every ball in play that isn't hit to CF.

basically, he sucks ass and should be at the bottom of the lineup. leyland is just an idiot.
