Anquan Boldin traded for a 6th rounder to 49ers.

Glad we don't play the 49ers.

Play the Ravens without Ray Lewis, Kruger and Boldin. Plus Ellerbe and Reed up in the air. I'll take it at Ford Field.

I thought Boldin said he was going to retire if he was traded???? Guess that was all a bluff to stay with the team.

One might change their mind when traded to the NFL's most talented team. Pretty good odds to make another run at a Super Bowl next year.

he still has the option of retiring....but my guess is he shows up for his $6 mil

All of the players the Ravens lost are replaceable..they're setting themselves up nicely for the future after winning the super bowl. They'll still be around the same team they were a season ago and will have more flexability in the coming years now.

I agree that nothing is earth shattering, all older vets. But I'm not sure they will be the same as last year. Future, yes.

Right, definitely debatable. I just think Kruger was a product of some guys around him, Lewis had obviously lost a ton, they're used to playing without Reed and Boldin can be replaced with a possession wr. I guess it's a stretch to say they'll be the same if for nothing else having to bring in a bunch of new starters through promotion or FA but sounds like we agree that it won't be a big of a deal as some think. Honestly I think Lewis' leadership might be the worst part of it all for Bmore. They really rallied around that guy like nothing I've seen.
