if they can get back into very late round 1 and get Weedon like the rumors are circulating....possible deal with Pats for #31...Bellichek does like to move out of late 1st and pick up that extra pick usually.

Trent Richardson , Stephen Hill or Wright , Brandon Weedon

pretty quick infusion of talent

Who would they have to move ahead of to snag Weedon. Couldn't they just sit tight in Rd 2?

maybe thinking someone else moves....I had them waiting until round 2 also

NFL Network's Jason La Canfora suggests that the Browns may wind up trading back into the first round to select Brandon Weeden at No. 31.

The hypothetical deal would be with New England, and it should be noted that the Boston Globe proposed this exact trade in its final mock draft Thursday morning. Belichick is usually looking to trade down, and securing Weeden at No. 31 after drafting Trent Richardson at No. 4 and a receiver at No. 22 would allow Cleveland to upgrade its offense quickly and potentially immense

I get what Weeden brings but still a bit raw in certain area's and he's freakin' 29. Or will be in October..Too bad he chose baseball first but if I was a Browns fan, I'd hate the pick.

Yeah by changing the draft format to what it is teams don't want to sit tight for 24 hours hoping nobody else jumps them. If round 2 was still on day 1 they would probably be more comfortable to sit.

I think Weeden is more NFL ready than Tannehill. I would actually take Cousins over Tannnehill. The onbly issue you have with Tannehill is because of his age his window is smaller and by the time he gains experience and becomes good he career will be almost over.

Yep it's why the Lions moved up for Best. Can't let a whole night and day of trade opportunities happen.

That and we only had to flip 4th slots. I think the Pats asking price will be higher.
