Brunner

I just happened to read the remaining top 5 free agents and realized Brunner is still out there. Now, obviously, he was a good offensive player for us, but was still working out his defensive warts. It seems like he expected more interest and bigger contract offers, but to no avail. How much do anyone here think he would be worth to the Wings?

Maybe at the least we could pick him up for another cheap year so that he can try to land that big contract next summer.

I'd give him a buck or two. Wings will hopefully lock him up with a 5+ year contract, but he probably wants shorter contract to get more money once he improves so I expect a 1-3 year deal at about $1.5 per, but that is purely a wild ass giuess.
