Jason Fox - T - Lions Lions GM Martin Mayhew considers restricted free agent OT Jason Fox a "leading candidate" to start in 2013.
"Obviously he's had injuries in his first couple seasons," Mayhew said. "We think he has a starter-type talent level. He has the size. He's strong enough. Good technician." Fox will compete with Riley Reiff to replace free agent Gosder Cherilus, who at this point seems as good as gone. Unlike Fox, Reiff is also a candidate to replace Stephen Peterman at right guard.
