Bye week

I'll bitch about this bye week a lot this year because I think it really hurts us being this early. This is all about Bama bailing on us and then EMU doing the same, leaving us scrambling and moving our final non conference game to October when our bye should have been.

Next year it gets even better, our bye is................week 1.

it's ridiculous. Bama probably did us a favor so I can't bitch about that too much but why would Eastern bail on us? Nobody goes to their games and they lose most of them anyway so they make infinitely more money travelling to East Lansing than they do at home and they end up with the same record. With their program losing money hand over fist, how can they afford to do that?

Week 1 bye? Yah, it really sucks, those are meant for rest halfway through the season when players are injured.
