I know hes had the injuries and all but he looks lost every time hes out there. Yesterday he wasnt even looking when the ball was coming to him. Most shots barely hit the rim, weve got Kaminski so I think he should sit and nothing else. Im sure its rough on him with the negativity but hes nearing Delco Rowley status.

He's a hard worker who has had some physical setbacks but he's simply not a functional big ten player. I think he had one good camp and that inflated his rankings. There have been plenty if guys who never made it, dahlman, Herzog, etc

No question he's had a tough go of it with the injuries, and although the cited article is nearly a year old, the sentiment is still spot on. Fans should not make it personal with the kid. He wants to perform more than the fans want him to. He wants to contribute and win more than any fan.

But there comes a time where it seems clear he's not capable of contributing to this team, and should not see the floor during any meaningful part of any game.

Let him get some minutes when games are out of hand or in the last minute of a sealed up win. Let him kiss the Breslin floor on Senior night next year. He's a Spartan. He's earned it.

But for the love of Jud, don't play this kid when the minutes matter. There are better options. Wetzel at least won't turn the ball over.
