They are pushing Verlander, but IMO it isn't an award for pitchers. It is time to FINALLY give Miggy his due. He's had a legitimate shot for the last 3 years and this year he is still in the running. A few more home runs and the batting title should clinch it for him. We need Adrian Gonzalez to go into a slump. Verlander Cy Young, Cabrera MVP!

In my opinion, Gonzales is the front runner. Grandy, playing for the Yankees and roided up Bautista shouldn't get any votes.

I gotta disagree.

Granderson, Batustia, and Agon are all more likely.

Verlander is our only shot at a Tiger as MVP.

I agree. Not with the no votes part, but that Gonzalez is the front runner right now. I think that Cabrera can overtake him easily. He is on fire right now.

Cabrera is going to have to go on a record tear to make up .026 points of BA, and 11 RBI's in the 23 games we have left.

And even then, still Bautista and Granderson....

Not 26, it is more like .012 right now, not a big deal if Gonzalez comes down and he goes up. Granderson is at .270 so that is going to be an obstacle. Bautista's team didn't win, so he is out.
