Tough back to back road games for Green Bay.. 27-7 right before half.

Yep, the defense has contained Rodgers well.

That's my boy McDermott coordinating a solid D out there. Next Lions HC.

.. probably not.

This just means GB will be pissed off and beat us by 40 next week. If I was smart I'd actually make a large bet on the game.

Just got a quick TD and stopped Carolina next possession. So GB's ball down 27-13.

That GB Oline is bad.

Lacy looks about as explosive and hard to bring down as Mikel LeShore.

That being said.....we'll get to Rodgers and sack him 4-5 times......but he'll also run for 50+ yards and GB will score 35+

GB has problems......they are good, not great. Rodgers can't beat those great defensive teams because that line is so bad. Even HE can't overcome that.

That GB o line will be made to look all pro next week I'll bet

Hard to say. The pressure is on now. Players and coaches have been put on notice.

Firing a GM mid season wouldn't seem to have much impact on the field, but it does. It tells everyone in the organization that losing will not be tolerated. When an owner steps in and makes sweeping changes, everyone's job is at risk.

A GM firing a coach is often seen by the team as an "ass saving" moving by the GM. An owner firing the GM is always seen as an "Oh, shit, they are pissed" moment.

Could be a wakeup call for the Lions. Should be at the very least. Will the playcalling improve as a result? Only time will tell, but I suspect we will see a team playing for their jobs next week. If we don't, Caldwell has lost the locker room for sure.

I don't think so. Detroits pass rush has been the best unit on the team the first half. 20 sacks. 9th in the league....tied with teams like Houston, Seattle and Carolina. Ansah is a fuckin beast......even without Suh. Jones has been solid. Ngata is rounding into form.

That line is legit.

The back 7, however, is trash outside of Slay......who has been good.

Meh, they seem to do most of that damage early then nowhere to be found for 3/4th of the day..all front loaded nothing left in the tank by the 2nd Q

IMO he has lost the locker room already half the team just doesn't look like they give a shit and go going through the motions counting down the days till they can get the hell out of doom town

Sooooooo.......what you're saying is they're good when they're relatively fresh but when the terrible offense keeps them on the field so much they get gassed and they aren't as effective??? Or, teams have such a big lead they just run the ball the entire 4th quarter???

Yeah, not sure where your argument is.

I'm saying big deal stats mean nothing record speaks for itself, whether they play hard next week or not it's likely to be another clown show blow out thumping defeat. Quarterbacks commonly have all day long to throw on us after the first quater maybe it's conditioning who knows
