Should the Lions make him an offer he cant refuse or let him test the market in the offseason? Im on the fence with Houston, my gut is telling me the Lions should lock him up, cuz they cant afford to lose the best player in their secondary. Is Houston really a player the Lions should overpay to keep here?

You want to keep him, but at what price, he's a #2 corner in this league, but he's been our #1 so he might want #1 money. Of course we need 2 CBs and a good safety to have a good secondary.

Not sure what our cap situation is for 2013, but you need to keep the only decent player you have in the secondary that can stay healthy.

we should just draft Johnny Adams in the 1st.

Im guessing he'll want 6-8 mil. Slightly less than Joseph a couple of years ago. All depends on the market and who else is out there.

Chris Houston is our MOST important off season move.

He needs to be resigned at all costs.

If I'm not mistaken, Goldson from SF is a FA this year. A really good S.

ya i love that guy. i think SF franchised him this year. Im guessing theyll resign him or just franchise him again. Hes definitely one of my pipe dreams though lol.

Yeah, really no reason for SF to let him go....unless they have other FA to sign.....I'm not sure. Tracy Porter from Denver is a FA CB that would look good in Honolulu Blue.
